The Brand

The Wine Apothecary is a premium, personalised wine tasting experience held in your own home tailored to your occasion. Whether you’re wine aficionados wanting to learn more or simply looking for a fun and unique activity, the branding for this new company needed to reflect this and cater to large range of audiences.

The brand we created has an earthy natural feel with a nod to the blending of ingredients in an apothecary as well as the tasting notes and blends within the wine itself. The outlined shapes emulate the bowl of a wine glass and the sense of coming together both in sharing a glass of wine and different elements of the business itself. The organic shapes nod to wax seals, creating a blend of the traditional and the modern.

 

The brand elements pull on expressive illustrations and watercolour abstract shapes to bring personality into it as well as a hand crafted nature.

We also created an extensive and adaptive colour palette to ensure that there was a colour per key tasting note of the wine.
